A meaningful series of events was implemented for visually impaired students studying in the Special Education Class of Kadaifçioğlu Primary School in Afyonkarahisar. This voluntary work carried out by the students of the Special Education Department started on April 15, 2025 and will continue until the end of May.
As part of the events, students are supported with various social and developmental activities such as book reading hours, game and drama activities, and music events. Each event is planned in accordance with the individual development levels and needs of the students; a participation and interaction-based approach is adopted.
Thanks to these applications, the social interactions of visually impaired students are increased, while their sensory and cognitive developments are also supported. At the same time, the students of the Special Education Department have the opportunity to gain experience in the field and directly observe and apply special education practices.
