HISTORY

Special Education Teaching Program, with the letter of the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education dated 08.08.2019 and numbered 75850160-101.03.01.E.57693, was established at Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Education, Department of Special Education and the Department of Education for the Visually Impaired, Hearing Impaired, Intellectual Disabled and Gifted. Its branches were examined at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting dated 31.07.2019 and opened in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, amended by Law No. 2880. The Special Education Teaching Program will accept students for the first time in the 2022-2023 academic year.
